This week is iBike Rosemont week!  BFOC has made the iBike program a regular event that is bringing real change at Rosemont Elementary School.  Regular ridership at the school is significantly higher than other neighborhood schools.  Also, the City is stepping up to the plate investing in bike infrastructure making it safer for kids to ride to the school.  Some of the City’s first buffered bike lanes can be found right outside the school.

Today over 65 kids rode their bike to school.  Thanks to Bike Texas for supplying bike lights which we gave away to a bunch of happy kids.  Friday afternoon will be our big iBike Rosemont ride to Enos Pizza Tavern in Bishop Arts.  We’ll have over 100 kids riding down to Enos to enjoy root beer floats and good times.
