It looks like old man weather isn’t smiling down on us this week, but we’re still planning on moving forward with the events listed unless otherwise noted,including tonight’s Karaoke (Bikeoke) event at Barbara’s Pavillion on Centre street. Barbara’s is a great little bar in the OC that is very bicycle friendly, and lets you wheel your rides inside, so bring your vocal chords and come thirsty. The Cube Creative and Oak Cliff Bicycle Company present the Tyler Street Block Party on October 10th. It will be a fun filled evening of music from Boom Boom Box, and the Happy Bullets, DJ’s, a photography opening by Photopol.us, BBQ, an art-bike show held by the Cube Creative. BikeDenton and the OCBC will hold several competitions including Track Stands, a Slow Bike Race, and more. The evening will be partially sponsored by Ben E. Keith. Be there, and be square! Art Bike Parade starts at 6pm sharp!
