Dallas Bikes to City Hall Tomorrow!

Tomorrow morning is the official Dallas Bikes to City Hall Day! Please join us in riding to City Hall Plaza along with several city council members. Announcements will be made as to upcoming complete streets initiatives, and the city’s new bicycle coordinator will be introduced. There will be multiple organizations on hand showcasing Dallas trails, rails, and more initiatives. We want to bring as many people out as possible to show our city leaders that we’re ready to shed our ranking as the “Worst City in the US for Bicycling”.

Be sure to check the dallasbikestocityhall.com site first thing in the morning, in case we cancel due to inclement weather. Otherwise, all systems are go!

There will be a group from the Southern Sector meeting in the Bishop Arts District at 7:30AM to start riding out by 7:50AM. Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters will be on hand to serve hot fresh coffee.

In the Northern Sector, a group lead by DORBA and TeamDART will be meeting at Mockingbird Station at 7:30AM.

Council members will be riding from Union Station at 8:15AM. Several group are planning on meeting up with them as they ride East up Young Street to City Hall.

Otherwise, we’re asking all to meet by 8:30AM at City Hall Plaza.
