This isn’t necessarily a bike specific event, though I’d recommend pedaling to this grand opening as opposed to driving as the management told me they’ve already had 600 people RSVP and parking is hard to come by. It’s a new restaurant called SMOKE, beside the Belmont Hotel (where we hold our Bike-In Movies), and they feature gourmet smokehouse/bbq. I swung by yesterday evening for their mock-opening and was overwhelmed by the incredible selections. Their menus are all available online here, and even include a full vegetarian fare. Kinky Friedman, Slobberbone, and Sarah Jaffe are all slated to perform, so expect a major turnout. A facebook event is listed here also.

They’ll be offering BFOC discounts in the future, though we haven’t nailed down exactly what that will be yet. We’ll update you as soon as we have word.
