RETREET is a kaleidoscopic group of tree and bicycle enthusiasts with strong backs, sharp minds, and big hearts who volunteer to replant communities whose trees have been lost to disaster.
The non-profit 501 c 3 organization goes to a new state and organizes a weekend to remember with new partners Arbor Day Foundation, Tree Bank Foundation, City of Moore, and Oklahoma Forestry Services.
The weekend of MARCH 28+29, 2015, RETREETers will plant up to 160 trees at 80 home sites in Moore, OK, in the wake of the EF5 tornado that struck on May 20, 2013, destroying over 1,000 homes and countless trees.
Enjoy a night out in Bricktown, Oklahoma City. RETREETers who purchase a registration that includes accommodation will stay at Hampton Inn & Suites (300 E Sheridan Avenue, OKC), walking distance from Bricktown.
