El Taxqueño Taqueria (formerly known as Santiago’s) is now managed by the bike-friendly Monroy family. With previous experience in the kitchen at Bob’s Steak and Chop House and the Tower Club, the Monroy family offers hand-made corn tortillas, a bring your own beverage policy, and 10 percent off discount for biking to their restaurant. El Taxqueño Taqueria will be one of the stops for BFOC’s Fall 2015 Tour de Taco.
El Taxqueño Taqueria’s grand opening is Sunday, August 23. Below are the details for our preview ride.
- 4:30 PM – Meet at Wild Detectives (314 West Eighth Street, Dallas)
- 4:45 PM – Depart for El Taxqueño Taqueria (207 W Suffolk Avenue)
- 5:00 PM – Arrive for opening ceremony and festivities.
