jason_tweedDALLAS – May 14, 2013,  Bike Friendly Oak Cliff is hosting a fundraising ride dubbed, “I Bike Jason,” to help founding member, Jason Roberts make a dent in the $40,000 in medical bills he’s facing after his recent bout with testicular cancer.

BFOC is looking for 75 riders to participate in a ride on Saturday, May 25th and has challenged these riders to raise $100 in pledges from friends and community supporters who appreciate the work Jason has done in our community.

Riders will start at Eno’s in the Bishop Arts at 7:00 p.m. and wheel their way to The Kessler Theater to help kick off the “Build a Better Jason Benefit.”

If you’re interested  in the ride please contact Zach Lytle at zlytle@gmail.com

The benefit at The Kessler will feature performances from some of Jason’s favorite bands including, The White Ghost Shivers, Bobby Patterson and John Singer Sergeant and will include an art auction. Tickets are $25 and additional donations are encouraged.

All money raised will be paid for Jason’s medical expenses.
