***Update 9/22: All time slots have been taken on the scheduling app but we welcome walk-ups and will work you in as we go! We have WAY more bikes to give away than we can make reservations for and we want to make sure everyone who wants a bike can have one – until we run out! We also have more bikes than we have helmets so they will be provided on a first-come basis (with set-asides for reservation holders.) Looks like we may need to schedule another event soon!***
Everyone’s on bikes these days and bike shops have been swamped. If you need some quick repairs we’re here to help!
We’ll have bike mechanics available from 10am to 3pm on Saturday Sept 26th at the Oak Cliff Brewing outdoor Biergarten at Tyler Station
We’ll be taking all the COVID-safe precautions of course! Bring your mask or buy a locally-made fabric reusable mask there, and we’ll have plenty of hand sanitizer and all stay socially distanced.
***You can sign up for a time to have your bike looked at (bikefriendlyoakcliff.10to8.com)*** or just stop by when you can and we’ll fit you in. If the work needed is a bit more complicated than we can help with in 30 minutes, we’ll hook you up at the OC Bike Synergy shop next door.
Since los niños grow out of bikes SO rápido, we’re fixing up 40+ used bikes to give away for free! Bring the kids by to pick out their own bike, or sign up for a time (bikefriendlyoakcliff.10to8.com) and we’ll make sure to set a bike aside for you if we need to.
We want to keep our neighborhood out on bikes, getting fresh air and sunshine and exercise!

Huge thanks to the bike mechanics and owners of Oak Cliff Bike Synergy at Tyler Station for donating the labor to fixing up these kiddo bikes, to The Bike Gangs of Fort Worth for wrenching 20+ more bikes and donating even more for our BFOC team to fix up for the giveaway! And special thanks to Bike DFW for donating helmets and lights for each of the niño bicicletas we’re giving away!

We’re so stoked – this is a huge team effort to get everyone out on bikes.
Last but not least, if you have an old bike to donate, you can bring it to Oak Cliff Synergy (1300 S Polk, #178) to be fixed up for this event the next, or if you’d like to volunteer to help out, email Amanda: amandapopken <at> gmail.com.
